Daily Draw

Firstly, life has been a little crazy so...

The last two days have been the following cards:

Today's Card:

This one is about finding something that was lost - taking hold of the good memories of the past and letting them cheer your present, something that will make you feel loved.

Daily Draw

From the Book:

Personal Interpretation:
I had a very specific question in mind today as well.  Usually I draw a card asking for guidance on a general level but I'm dealing with a big issue right now and so I focused on that.  The card is no surprise really and ties in well with yesterday's draw.  I am torn between two things right now and I do feel that I can't 'abandon' one for the other and that if I do there will be hurt and pain but I know I have to do what is right for me.  Why is it doing what is right for oneself is often the hardest thing to do?

Daily Draw

Today I pulled a card with a specific question in mind.  There is a decision that has been hanging around in the back of my head for some time now that needs addressing.  I've pondered it and pulled this card before and ignored the advice but I think I really need to take it this time.  It is not going to be easy, and conflict scares me a little, but at some point we have to do what is right for ourselves no matter how hard.  It is time for me to let got of a circumstance that has me giving more of myself than I have time to give with very little reward on a spiritual level.

Personal Interpretation:
The unexpected is coming, something outside the normal realm of things in your world.  This change will be a right of passage, a way to grow and in the end the outcome will see you stronger.

Daily Draw: Tuesday April 24th

From the book:
"This is a time for you to go within, into some kind of wilderness and wild place, whether this place is within you, or one that exists in the world.  You will become the huntress for a time - and this is an empowering, enwildening thing."

Personal Interpretation:
Embrace your own abilities, be self reliant and empowered and take that journey into the wilderness.  It may be scary, it may be hard, but in the end you will discover yourself and your true strength and with that discovery the world will open before you.

Daily Draw - Monday April 23rd

Never got a chance to post this one yesterday so here it is today instead.

From the Book:

Personal Interpretation:
You have struggled through birth as the butterfly struggles from the cocoon and now you are finding your wings.  Nothing will be the same but you have proven your strength, go forward and be.

Daily Draw - Kitsune

From the Book:
You will have a series of incidents where you seemingly stumble upon information that reveals what is the best action to take, who you can trust in the current situation, and where best to invest your precious energy and efforts.

Personal Interpretation:
Look out for the signs, they are there - things that make you realize that this person isn't who they say they are, that your time is better spent elsewhere, or that your trust has not yet been earned.  They are there, you simply have to open your eyes to seeing them.

From the Book:
For a brief time, you are about to receive an intervention in the form of strong psychic protection.  You must now quickly set in place strong, clear healthy boundaries, relish the opportunity to say no, calmly walk away from energy draining distractions and learn to nurture and support your own energy fields with daily practice.

Personal Interpretation:
You are shielding well at the moment, be wary though of using your shield to block out the good and the bad.  A shield is for helping you to protect while working on your inner defenses not to simply hide behind.  Take the time to work on strengthening your inner power so that you can eventually let those shields down.

No one can harm me now I have this knowledge...While I have lost some of my innocence, I have my life, my strength, my voice, my ability to stay myself no matter what others do or say.

Personal Message: I see a pattern appearing.  Yesterday I drew the same card as Tuesday and it dawned on me that the message is perhaps telling me its okay to go through that process.  Today's card seem to be moving along the same lines.

Alice in a Sea of Tears: Castaway, out of your depth, feeling abandoned.

Personal Message:  This one I think pertains to a dear friend.  Though it links somewhat to my dreams of late also.

"Darkness has been a resting place, a place of solace, but it is, the butterfly indicates, time to cut through the fear of being seen, and move into the light and go out, be public, and even be social for a time."

Personal Message:
Hmm, recurring themes and messages tend to come through on a Tuesday after spending Monday night working on Shadow work.  Today's message is a repetition of last nights work and messages.  I find the confirmation comforting.

Daily Draw - March 8th 2012

From the Book:
It is the right time in this moment.  For too long you have used this idea of right time as a tactic to delay and procrastinate, because you are afraid of what the change will bring.  Will you shift your consciousness - will you change, deliberately, despite the fear and the others who tell you you are wrong?

Personal Interpretation:
I am a big procrastinator, its actually something I've gotten worse at as I've gotten older.  And it is fear a lot of the time and waiting for the right time and doubting my ability to make the change.  This cards message relates to so many little things in my life as well as a big overriding theme that I'm working with right now.

Daily Draw - March 6th 2012

What the Book Says:
One cycle has ended.  You must now shift the focus from what you fear to what you wish to become, and just face what it is that is frightening you needlessly.  It will not kill you.  It might hurt a bit.  But it is SO worth it!

My Interpretation:
Oh how accurate is this card for today.  This year is one of big changes within myself (well at least that is my goal) and Shadow work is a key part of this and those changes will hurt but they are right and what I should be doing.  This is the natural next step in my journey that I have been running away from for so long, its time to face it head on.

Personal Message:

Little unsure about this one today, I think it is something I will have to see play out.  I do know there are a couple of things in the works that this could relate to though.

Personal Interpretation:
A reflection of exactly what I was thinking about/toying with the last 12 hrs or so.  I have allowed myself to give up a little too much of my time and power to a task that is unbalancing my life and making me incredibly stressed and I need to take a step back and regain my power and balance.
